I think they were very interesting exercises on knife defense. Especially I like the short blade work. You can actually utilize your gripping reflex to your advantage. If you try to practice quick grabs with a long blade, there is a risk of getting your palm and fingers cut. With the short blade, the grip lands on the knife wrist, thus, you can develop correct movements safely.
