I am still in shock and with sadness how a beautiful life form was extinguished in a breath. Jason aside of being one of my great teachers, he was a great human, I enjoyed our chats about everything always logical calm and with great spirit I will definitely miss him a lot May he find the light, peace and rest from this insane world Rest In Peace brother

Jason was a powerful, gentle, intelligent man. He conducted many of my classes and shared his deep knowledge with a genuine desire to help us improve. He always seemed to notice when I needed advice or encouragement and it was offered with virtually no ego, only a desire to help. I will think of him often.

I met Jason in my second class at Systema Headquarters almost 2 years ago. He was so friendly and made me feel welcome. I really appreciated him for that because I was new and did not know anyone at Systema Headquarters. He was always friendly and an excellent instructor. I am so sorry for your loss. I pray that you can get through this hard time with your family and friends; appreciate the moment you have with them and believe that Jason is with God and will always be with you in spirit. I will miss him. 🙁 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9

Jason was one of the first people I met at the club. He was very friendly and always had a smile on his face. He helped me feel welcome when I first joined and didn’t know anyone. He was generous with his time and would often stay late so that students could have more time to work. Some of my memories of Jason are of training at high park, doing massage or going for coffee after classes. I am sorry for the loss to his family, friends, and to our community. Jason was a great teacher, great friend and great person. We will miss you.
Rest In Peace

I want to send the best of my energies to all Jason’s family and Systema’s family in these difficult moments with the loss of Jason. I was able to train with him in Toronto and I still remember his kindness, his smile, his humanity. He was a person full of light. With my deepest affection and love – Spain

The picture you have posted is both cheering and very sad. This wonderful man came with warmth and courtesy and was a pleasure to know. He was ready with a warm greeting and handshake whenever he was manning the desk at Headquarters. He was a very professional teacher who presented clearly progressing lessons and then supported us by circulating with insightful corrections and encouragement. Mostly though I will miss the warmth of his accepting personality and his friendship.

Jason was indeed a bright spot in the room, and I always had a sense of gratitude for him after I learned he had introduced Systema to Korea. He was a big loss for the Systema community and I felt the communal grief last Saturday.
