One cold Canadian winter night, the staff of Systema HQ Toronto were filming at the gym and were trying to keep warm. The furnace couldn’t be turned on as it interferes with the audio and one staff said to another “I’m so cold!
I wish I was wearing a warm Systema sweater!” Valerie then said, “what a great idea! The Strong in Spirit Collection is great, but not warm enough…” The staff then responded with lots of great suggestions: One said, “I love pullover hoodies”.
Another started reminiscing their university days and the style of a classic imprint. And one pipped in saying “we have no merch in my favourite colour, maroon”.
And so these sweaters were born!

I’ve been eyeing this sweater since it came out, and I can’t thank Systema enough for providing such a wonderful gift (I got it with my membership renewal). The sweater itself feels very good on; it’s warm but not heavy, and has a beautifully etched Systema logo on the front – so you can feel good supporting the club as well :). Other than that, the sweater is made out of good materials in cotton blends, it is comfy and pleasing to look at. I like the pouch pocket, very convenient. Great piece to add to the collection. I’m very very happy!!
