I already read 2 stories and it’s it’s such a good read : concise and insightful. Great for people that have never heard of Systema or practitioners. These are real-life situations – the 2 stories I read – one was extreme, one was unique and the reader can extract a powerful truth. Very much like a Zen aphorism – these stories are very powerful- but they come from contemporary individuals – not from somebody hundreds of years ago.

Absolutely heartwarming book. The stories show the true meaning and the depth of Systema. From the illness recovery to the life threats, Systema comes to the rescue and helps to survive. This wonderful book shows how wide Systema is and how much more it is than a martial art. This book is another example of how in Systema training, we train not for sport, but for survival. I can’t recommend this book enough! I will be getting more copies to give for gifts.
