Traditionally used in Russia to defend from wolves during hunting and to counter the attacks of dogs, the Volchatka whip is also an item of self-defense.
Volchatka is an effective tapping massage tool for various muscle groups, tapping across the muscle fibres.
Hand made in Russia, genuine, high-quality leather, reinforced with a bendable steel rod through the entire length of the whip, weighted handle and tip, durable wrist loop.
Approximate length is 25 inches or 60 cm.
Approximate weight is 1.2 pounds or 600 grams.
The Volchatka is different from the longer Cossack whip, which was used mainly by horsemen for attacks in battle. This whip is shorter and thicker, more applicable for close quarter applications and restricted spaces.
