Endurance
Endurance training develops physical stamina. But is goes far beyond. It builds something we all need – it prepares us for long term stress.
The Russian word for endurance is выносливость, it comes from a verb that also means “take something needless away from yourself”.
Correct challenges of exercise and breathwork allow us to take needless tensions out of our body and to remove harmful emotions out of our mind.
Systema endurance training allows us to quickly diagnose our own areas of strength and weakness. It provides stability and resistance to hardship of all kinds.
To help prepare for the class, here are the training companions at 30% OFF
LESSON NOTES are posted in the Zoom chat during the session. Participants are welcome to use them as a reference and save at the end of class. To save the chat anytime during the meeting, click on Chat. At the bottom right of the chat window, you will see a button with three dots. Click on it and select the option to Save Chat. This will save the notes to your Documents folder >Zoom >Folder with meeting name, date and time.
Once your order has been processed, a generated email from the Online Store will inform you that a note has been added to your order. You can see the note in your “Order Updates”. The note will contain the Zoom Meeting ID and password.

Vladimir Vasiliev is on my mind. I took an online class with him Tuesday. Valerie translated some difficult concepts and gave good insights and my brother Eric Torres helped with awesome demos. To tell the truth I wasn’t expecting much, it was an online class. I was just really happy to have a chance to see my teacher and friends. Well, I was just wrong. Vladimir has never ever even once not amazed me. Tuesday’s online class was no different. He shared several drills that are paradigm shifting. Since Tuesday I have trained approximately 10 hours. The stuff shared has completely restructured my practice. One drill that Vladimir showed impacted my taijiquan practice to a greater depth than anything else has done in a decade. Systema is the most revolutionary practice I know of after well over 40 years of training. And Vladimir is an absolute genius on breathing, moving and relaxing. He’s just the best.

Thank you to Vladimir Vasiliev for yesterday’s live interactive video training! Great inspiration and perfect content for these times. It’s also a great way to take part in live Toronto HQ training without having to get on a plane! Great to see Vladimir giving feedback to the participants from watching their video streams. Several great moments and a couple of highlights that stood out for me: Lie on the floor and move from the hips…how you may ask? The movement starts, physically at least, by relaxing your hips and then following that wave of relaxation into a full movement…the movement you can produce is so absolutely smooth by comparison…(well for me anyway). Then apply this approach to walking, raising a leg and so on…. A lot of the breath work emphasised being able to operate physically without allowing these stresses and tensions, from generating physical movements or being in certain positions, to disturb your breathing… Worth staying up for for those of us in Asia Pacific and I recommend joining the next one if you can ;))

I just want to say thank you to Vladimir
and Valerie Vasiliev for such a great online class on the 12th April. It was early in the morning for us in Japan but definitely worth it. 10 minutes into the class I felt completely energized and awake.
The session theme was about using breathing to melt tension and convert it into relaxation and power. By breathing out and relaxing it didn’t mean you shrank and collapsed but you actually felt fuller every time you breathed in and out. Just from this one class, I feel like I have enough homework for a year or two!
Although the class was online, Vladimir was as inspirational and awe inspiring as ever, mixed with some good humor. All of this is needed at a time like this. Honestly, the feeling after class I had was basically the same as being in one of Vladimir’s classes. Energized, inspired and happy.
Although for us in Japan it was early, I completely forgot about the time and just enjoyed it. It was also really nice as it was really quiet too. I highly recommend that anybody in Japan and around the world make the most of this opportunity. Essentially Vladimir teaching you in your living room. Can’t get better and more convenient than that! I’ll certainly be doing another one.

I really liked the halfway breathing. I have been doing virtually everything on the check list but the demonstration helped me to significantly refine my practice. In addition to watching lots of video I am rolling around the floor and over the furniture somewhat to my wife’s dismay. I miss training with my friends at the school and hope we can get together again soon. In the meantime, this is a great way to help us maintain a sense of connection. Thank you.

Virus is negative thing on one side but as everything it also has some positive aspects and one of them is for sure this live online classes. I am from Poland and going to Toronto is not possible at the moment but now i can really grasp at least a little experience from the master itself. For now i did all three breathing classes and the last one with structure. After any of this i feel conpletely refreshed and strong with great ideas to further work. Vladimir is an expert without any doubt in creating the feeling of good, strong and calm energy. What is also worth noticed is together with Valerie their both humble and warm character. Having you post the drills in the Zoom chat last week was GREAT. It allowed me to spend the entire time focusing on training rather than part of the time on taking notes on the drills. I truly appreciate Vladimir taking the time to share his knowledge via live stream. I must be honest, I had no desire to attend any online classes because I feared there may be too many distractions, such as technical issues that may arise. I also find our training to be somewhat of a personal experience that involves positive energy that can only be felt in person with our playfulness. But it has been too long since I have attended a class, due to the “lockdown”, so I decided to finally try out an online class. Best decision I could have made. Vladimir always energizes me with his exercises and I always learn something new.

In Vladimir Vasiliev’s online session on Pillars of Systema-STRUCTURE, the feeling I felt on my body of being energized and relaxed was exactly the same experience I got at Toronto HQ.
What’s more surprising for me was that although this class was held online, I could feel as if I was training at Toronto HQ with Vladimir. The participants are able to feel the atmosphere that Vladimir creates in the class even from a distance, and that atmosphere allows participants to easily feel connected to the instruction given in class.

それよりも増して驚きだったことは、オンラインクラスであったにも関わらずまるでトロント本部で練習しているような感覚になったことでした。ヴラディミア師が作るクラスの雰囲気をスクリーン越しであっても感じられ、それによってクラスでのトレーニングに集中できたのだと思います。

The handgun solo training class was awesome. Vladimir covered a lot of content that included different ways to draw a gun (handling up to 2 guns at a time) and how to use a jacket to hide and distract someone from seeing the gun. As with all exercises different positions were considered and being relaxed was key. I learned to become comfortable with the gun in order to use it quickly and effectively (with no tension in my movements). I really enjoyed the class

I’m really grateful these classes are available. It’s such an incredible opportunity to learn interesting things that I’ve never seen shared anywhere else before. I feel bad if anybody is missing out on this chance to learn a lot about themselves.
Anyone that has taken one of these classes knows how lucky they are. I’ve been fortunate to take some of these classes and my body feels different and more comfortable inside myself. I feel less stressed and relationships with my family are better.
Every class is different and it’s like looking at a beautiful gem from a different angle. I wouldn’t even be disappointed if a class ever was the same because it’s like trying to drink from a firehose. I’m sure I miss a lot that is coming at me. The Vasiliev’s are very warm, friendly, and generous with the information they share. If you ask questions they will try and answer you.
You can tell a lot of thought and work is put into how to describe these concepts, exercises and the progressions. It’s not just talk though, you can actually see them demonstrated. You can see the difference in the movements with the principles that are being taught and then you can feel them inside your own body when you try them. If you are even more lucky, Vladimir might give you a present and point out something that his expert eyes can see that maybe you had no idea was going on in your body, which can save you a lot of time struggling on your own.
For yourself, your family, your friends, maybe even the world don’t miss out while this opportunity exists. The world needs more strong, kind and good people like those I’ve met in Systema.

I attended the webinar on last week’s Wednesday for the first time. It was my first Systema experience. I had been practicing on my own for some time after reading the two books you wrote. Participating in the actual practice helped me to realize the importance of breathing. After taking that seminar, my body’s tension was so much better. Even in my hobby of Jiu-Jitsu, my movements became smoother. I am amazed at this change. I am a physical therapist. I am very impressed this time. Because the textbooks did not teach me this kind of physical technique of breathing.

I was not a fan of online training until I realized that as I buy your recordings, I not only have you in my living room but I have pause and Rewind as well. This helps me greatly in soaking in those points that I find difficult to grasp at first. I watch your videos repeatedly and by the time the fourth or fifth watch goes around it’s absolutely all mine. I also own every DVD you have available but I still find these Zoom classes to be helping me along in my training by Leaps and Bounds. Even though I train 99.99 % by myself, I remain grateful.
