WRESTLING – Sport & Street
with Vladimir Vasiliev, Hoy Chan, and Eric Torres
Hoy and Eric present efficient Sport drills of classical wrestling, mobility and strength on the ground, with a stick and traditional partner techniques.
Vladimir uncovers some unique and creative street elements, including free work, and immediate counters that are optimized to the attack itself.
Sport and street confrontations can be equally challenging, but they have different objectives.
There are more limitations and more humane elements in sports. Street conflicts can be more evil and rough, more quick and unexpected, less merciful, with larger means of destruction.
See how applied Systema has some elements of sport but is closer to street work, adding new dimensions to your fighting skills.
In this film, highly experienced wrestlers, Hoy Chan and Eric Torres, demonstrate fundamental and advanced ground tactics. Together with Vladimir Vasiliev, they show how Systema can add a variety of options for escapes and counters on the ground for single and multiple opponents.
You can excel in Systema with no previous experience. If you already have an arsenal of skills in other arts and sports, Systema will develop and empower every one of them.
Running time: 57 minutes.

Great film! I’ve been doing wrestling for years and I can always still learn something new, especially from Vladimir.
Ian Chapman –
I really enjoy the diversity of form and freedom. Such a huge variation of movements yet all very specific. Brilliant!
Alex Turner –
Great breakdown of wrestling for both sport and real-life situations. Clear demonstrations and practical ideas you can apply right away.
