Did you know that any exercise, even a strenuous one, can be lightened.
But how?
You can convert a heavy exercise into something as light as breathing – where each rep becomes an inhale and exhale.
In this film, Vladimir takes you through a very interesting class. Simple exercises such as push ups, squats, falls and leg raises are brought to a different, higher level; and with every rep, your body becomes more light and more mobile.
The topics of this workout include:
- Tension-free breathing
- Convert push ups to breathing
- Prepare for squats
- Convert squats to breathing
- Tension-free fall and rise
- Prepare for leg raises
- Convert leg raises and sit ups to breathing
- Combine all exercise
- Relaxation
Try this practical Systema approach. Train along and start performing your exercises just because you breathe.
Running time: 54 min.

Another excellent video from Vladimir. I tried these loose push ups he showed, followed by the tense-relax recovery in the hips and what a great result! Immediately, I felt so much freedom in the hips, I could step so easily in any direction. With this program, the muscles get the workout but there is no fatigue, only lightness in the body!

Excellent class! We all know the importance of breathing in Systema, but the explanations and practices in this class bring that understanding to a much deeper level that can be applied to many types of movements and exercises.

I discovered the breath sufficiency principle so nicely following the exercises in this film. If you over-inhale, you are tired faster. If you breathe just enough, you will last a lot longer and it is so much easier to recover. Thank you, Vladimir!
