Systema endurance training is a super efficient way to gain physical stamina, but is goes far beyond that. It builds willpower and it prepares for long term stress.
This ideal workout takes you though 3 stages:
- Warm up – breathing, stretch & light tensing
- Workout – a unique interplay of movements and breath holds
- Cool down – breath and heart rate synchronization stage
Familiar static exercises of push-ups, plank, squats, sit-ups and leg raises are done in a perfect progression and merged with breath-work, where the recovery from each drill is the next dimension of the challenge.
Also included with this film is your Endurance Exercise Guide – a step-by-step list of all the drill sequences as a PDF file.

I was actually an online participant in this endurance class and I thought it would be tough for me to keep up. I am not so young and certainly not as fit as Vladimir’s assistant – Eric. But guess what… no problem, I followed along the whole class fairly easily. I suppose this is because matching the muscular effort with breathing makes all the difference. And also because there is so much variety in Systema that your body just starts to function in a higher mode. Thanks a million for releasing this class on film and with a study guide too. Now I have no excuse, I will workout on my own 🙂
