SURVIVAL TIPS – WINTER
with Pete Rogers, a Combatives Instructor for various units with the CAF (Canadian Armed Forces), with a 20-year career – now retired. He has worked in various environments which required development and utilization of all senses and survival skills to achieve the desired results. Pete has also been training and teaching Systema for over 20 years.
Join us this Saturday, where Pete will discuss the fundamentals of surviving and living in sub zero environments. Learn the basic fundamentals of survival and environmental considerations.
Pete will discuss:
- Using snow as a tool of survival
- Ways of making fire in the snow
- Building shelter
- Food and nutrition requirements
- First aid and recovery

To save the chat anytime during the meeting, click on Chat. At the bottom of the chat window on your right, you will see a button with three dots. Click on it and you will see the option to Save Chat. This will save your chat to your Documents folder > Zoom > Folder with meeting name, date and time.
Once your order has been processed, some time before the session, a generated email from the Online Store will inform you that a note has been added to your order. You can see the note when you click on your order and it will be in “Order updates”. The note will contain the Zoom Meeting ID and password.
